What is Shekar?

An app for learning to read and write Persian (Farsi), starting from the very first letter, in short lessons with every letter and word spoken aloud. The first two lessons are included; Shekar Premium unlocks the whole course.

I subscribed, but the lessons are still locked

Open Settings › Restore purchases in the app, signed in to the same Google account (or Apple Account) you subscribed with.

How do I cancel my subscription?

On Android: Google Play › your profile picture › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › Shekar Premium › Cancel. In the app, Settings › Subscription › Manage in Google Play takes you there. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by the store you paid: see Google Play's refund help. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law aren't affected.

How do I change the voice or make it slower?

Settings › Pronunciation: choose a female or male voice, and Slow, Learner or Natural speed.

How do I start the course again?

Settings › Reset progress deletes your finished lessons, scores and lessons in progress on this phone. Your settings and subscription stay.
